Customized products, compliance with the most demanding quality standards, on-time delivery of products: these are the keys of success that CI-ESSE has always adopted to strengthen and expand its brand on the global market. With the objective to raise customers’ satisfaction and enlarge its competitive advantage, since September 2016 CI-ESSE has been implementing a new organizational system for the company. The main goals are two: the certification for the aerospace sector (AS9100) and the adoption of an organizational model based on flexibility, as to be tailored to each single project.

From the very beginning of each project, the Commercial Area communicates with the client and manages RFQs (requests for quotation) and Purchase Orders
When a product innovation is involved (both, for traditional machining and for additive manufacturing), the Prototyping Area actively collaborates with the Commercial Area, either through simulation (CAD/CAM) or through physical models
The component thus enters the Production phase, where chip removal techniques operate in synergy with additive technologies. Furthermore, the Production Area manages machinery, infrastructure and the workplace as to guarantee the compliance with highest standards
For the evaluation of incoming materials, Quality Assurance works together with the Procurement Area: all suppliers are evaluated, qualified and approved. The semi-finished and finished products are constantly monitored as to detect the presence of non-conformities
The Executive Area coordinates the company activity as a whole and develops commercial and business strategies. With the backing of other company’s functions, such as the administration, CI-ESSE’s performance is constantly monitored by internal auditing activities. Improvement actions, based on internal metrics, are put into place as needed
